WoW Tailoring Guide
Posted by lulumely | 22 Apr, 2008"WoW Tailoring Guide 1 to 300 This guide will show you how to get your tailoring skill up from 0 to 300. Being a one-time huge SFII fan, I remember reading that some odd years ago - great game theory there, and he's absolutely right. The guide will only use recipe's available at a trainer until 275 and vendor available recipe's from 275 to 300. This guide only uses recipes that require cloth and vendor bought material (thread, dye).First reading that back then, as well as some other things he has written about gaming and winning really taught me a lot about being successful in games. The only exceptions are the vendor bought recipe's to get to 300 which require rugged leather. The best point is that too often we have our own misconceptions about what is "honorable" and we apply them to our style of battle in the games we play. The leather needed is easely aquired through skinning or the auction house. This guide does not tell you how to get all the different recipe's from quests, vendors or drops. These misconceptions usually end up actually hurting us in the end and costing us a victory. What you do once you hit 300 is entirely up to you. This guide is primarily aimed at those who want to switch profession at high level or have high level alts, friends or guildmembers. Preparation You are going to need a lot of linen and wool cloth and huge amounts of silk, mageweave and runecloth. What's your main right now. Create an alt storage character to store these amounts of cloth and then farm (or have an alt farm) for the cloth needed. My main is a Protection Spec Human Warrior on Eldre'Thalas. Use the ingame mail system to send the cloth to the storage character. He's been my main since March of 2005.
po wow You may need more than one storage character. However, I have flirted at times with the possibility of switching to a Priest full time, but that was back in November of 2006. Don't forget to send some gold to the storage character, so she can send the cloth back. Once you have all the components collected, everything has to be send back to your main character. However that said, I also have many other alts that I give a lot of care and love. The mailbox only shows the first 50 items you have in the mail. One of my favorite things to do is to run the level 70 five mans with friends, all of us running on our fourth or fifth alt. Cheapest wow gold It also puts the last item send to you on top. It's kinda fun! Players who "play to win" wonder why some folks in game try to play by "fictitious rules" -- why not do some arena matching, or why not jump on an opponent on a PvP server when they're almost dead from fighting a mob. So to avoid complications send the components you need first last: i.e the linen cloth are needed first, so these are the last to be send back to your main, after the wool, silk, etc. The recipe's used require vendor bought components such as threads and dye. If there's a mod that will let you "cheat" on a boss, or a macro that will let you target opponents in the arena, why not use it. These cost gold. But just as the person writing this article about scrubs sees those as "fake rules" (because the game doesn't actually keep you from doing those things seen as "cheap"
The amount of gold needed is aproximately 40 to 50 gold if you farm all of the cloth.Players play by their own rules all the time, but that's no reason at all to call them "scrubs." More after the break! For the Horde or Glory to the Alliance. If you want to buy everything you need from the auction house expect to spend upwards to 250 gold. Alliance! Grab that sword and fight the Horde! Seriously, I don't play my horde characters much. wow gold billig This does not include gold for recipe's from vendors or the auction house. Below is a table that shows the amount of cloth needed.I've got a 65 Blood Elf Paladin rotting away that I'll probably never pick up again. The minimum amount column shows the minimum amount needed if you would get a skill point every time you make something.I'm not sure why the horde doesn't click with me, it just doesn't. However at some point a recipe will be yellow or even green when you make something so you won't allways get a skill point.Interestingly enough, I play exclusively on the evil side of EQ2... wow power leveling The estimated amount column deals with this, so try to get the estimated amount of cloth. . If you are buying all the cloth you need from the auction house, I suggest getting the minimum amount and only buy more when needed.
